Single Effect evaporation plant with thermal vapour recompressor for the evaporation of whole milk;
Capacity: Water evaporation from whole milk which is to be concentrated from approx. 11,4% TS to approx. 12,5 % TS.
Material: Parts in contact with product and vapour are made of CrNi steel, material 1.4301/1.4541
Quantity feed:30,000 l/h at TS 11.4% Temprature about 75°C. Evaporation rate:2,400 kg/h.
The concentration quantity of 27600 kg/hr and 12,5% TS is discharged from the plant at a temperature of approx. 68°C and a pressure of approx. 1,5 bar g related to the pressure connection of the pump.
A constant amount of steam is conveyed to the plant by means of a control loop. The admission pressure at the inlet of the jet pump (Pl 1) is min. 8.0 bar (g).
The water of max. 28°C has a pressure loss of approx. 10 - 15 mLC between inlet and outlet at the condenser (battery limit)
The condensate is conveyed is discharged from the plant by the condensate pump at an overpressure of approx. 1 bar g related to the pressure connection of the pump
The vacuum pump generates and maintains the necessary operating vacuum
The plant is based on a room height of min. 7 m
